Fix Gears of War for PC!

Here's the solution for stuttering problem, not crashing problem and it might not works for some people. Give it a try anyway. :)
1. Find WarEngineUserSettings.ini file in "My Documents\My Games\Gears of War for Windows\WarGame\Config\" directory.
2. Change OnlyStreamInTextures=FALSE to OnlyStreamInTextures=TRUE.
3. Save the file.

Installing Leisure Suit Larry 7 on XP.

Here's another old sweet adventure game. And here's the easy way to install it on Windows XP(I'm not sure about Vista).

1. Right click on the desktop and choose properties.
2. Change desktop theme to Windows Classic and click OK.
3. Run Leisure Suit Larry 7 installer and install it.
4. Right click on the desktop and choose properties again.
5. Change desktop theme to Windows XP and click OK.
6. Play the game!

Running The Longest Journey under Windows Vista

Here's the prequel of Dreamfall, one of the best adventure game ever made. If you problem running 4-CD version of The Longest Journey under Windows Vista, here's the solution.

It's very easy just copy MFC42.DLL, msvcirt.DLL, and msvcp60.DLL from CD1 of 4-CD version to game directory. That's all. This make TLJ runs under Vista. It might not runs perfectly but it runs. It's great to play this awesome game under new OS, right?

Dreamfall: Not Enough Disk Space

"There is not enough space to install these option(s).
Please free up some disk space or modify your selections"

If you receive this message after try to install Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, this means there's less than 7 Gb available on your C: drive. You can either try to free up your C: drive more than 7Gb or if you can't, try this solution.

1. Click Start -> Run
2. Type "regedit" at the prompt and hit OK, this will runs regedit.
3. Go into HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion if youare running XP 64)
4. Write down the value of ProgramFilesDir (it will most likely be "C:\Program Files"), and then change it to the drive that contain more than 7 Gb free.
5. Install Dreamfall
6. Change the value of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion - ProgramFilesDir back to its original value.
7. Depending on where you install the game, the shortcuts the installer creates on the desktop and in the start menu probably won't point to the correct location. You can fix them by right clicking on one, selecting 'Properties', and then entering the location Dreamfall is installed in.

*Don't mess with your registry unless you know what are you doing.*
